Officials said a US delegation will travel to Niger over the weekend to discuss how it will be carried out. “Niger is pretty profound in the decision of the government there … to have us depart or at least go to very low numbers,” Maier said. Since the coup in July, airspace has been closed over Niger to foreign militaries who have all had to submit individual requests for airspace to conduct military flights, one US official told CNN. A US military official explained that the withdrawal will come in phases over a period of months. BOTZ has been a key beneficiary of the AI advance, garnering $594 million in inflows this year, according to FactSet. While many investors see AI as a tech play, Todd Sohn, ETF and technical strategist at Strategas Securities, believes that the benefit of industrials is an under-the-radar narrative worth taking a second glance at. And because data is what's driving AI, Maier said, larger companies like Amazon , Alphabet and Meta Platforms best retain that type of exposure. After pushing the singing coach, Barbara Maier Gustern, with whom she had no prior relationship, Ms. Pazienza returned to her home in Queens, mentioning to her then-fiancé, almost in passing, that she had pushed someone, prosecutors have said. Markets hit the skids on Wednesday after Fitch Ratings downgraded its rating on U.S. debt to AA+ on Tuesday evening — one notch below the agency's highest rating of AAA. "The repeated debt-limit political standoffs and last-minute resolutions have eroded confidence in fiscal management," the rating firm said in a press release. In historical context, though, this week's downgrade is less of a big deal than it seems, experts say. the rating agency dinged Uncle Sam's once perfect credit rating. "In some ways, the S&P downgrade echoes the current downgrade from Fitch," Sam Millette, fixed income strategist for the Commonwealth Financial Network, wrote in a recent note.

Saudi Arabia has already evacuated Gulf citizens from Port Sudan on the Red Sea, 650 km (400 miles) from Khartoum. Egypt, which has more than 10,000 citizens in Sudan, urged its nationals outside Khartoum to head to its consulate in Port Sudan, and to a consular office in Wadi Halfa on the border with Egypt, in preparation for their evacuation. It encouraged those in Khartoum to shelter in place and wait for the situation to improve.

WASHINGTON, April 23 (Reuters) - All U.S. government personnel were evacuated from Washington's embassy in Khartoum, as well as a small number of diplomatic personnel from other countries, U.S. officials said on Saturday, as fighting rocks Sudan. The operation evacuated fewer than 100 people, the officials told reporters. "We evacuated all of the U.S. personnel and dependents assigned to Embassy Khartoum," said Under Secretary of State for Management John Bass. A substantial number of local staff remain in Khartoum supporting the embassy, where Washington decided to suspend operations on Saturday due to the security risks, Bass said. U.S. forces spent just an hour on the ground in Sudan before taking off again, entering and exiting Sudan without being fired upon by the warring factions on the ground, the military said.

Maier is not visible in a list of members of the European Parliament (here)The clip appears in a video posted on YouTube by German public broadcaster ARD at the 4:54 mark (here). This higher definition version of the clip clearly shows dark brown coloured tobacco snuff on his left hand, not cocaine, which is white in color (here), (www.dea.gov/factsheets/cocaine). The Bundestag’s Press Office said they were not able to comment as Maier was no longer a member of the parliament. The video does not show a European Parliament member using cocaine.
